RB Leipzig have won their first game under new coach Ralf Rangnick after defeating Union Berlin 4-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The win came despite RB Leipzig struggling to find their rhythm early on, as they fell behind to a goal from Union's Max Kruse before half-time.

However, they responded strongly in the second half, with goals from Timo Werner, Marcel Sabitzer and then two more from Nkunku to secure a comfortable victory for the visitors.

Nkunku's goal was particularly impressive, as he scored with a powerful shot from outside the box, giving him his third goal of the season.

Olmo also had a memorable performance, scoring twice in just over an hour on the pitch, while Szoboszlai also added to the team's attacking threat.

Rangnick has clearly made an impact at the club, with the players looking much more united and focused than they were under former manager Oliver Glasner.

It remains to be seen how long this new era will last, but it is clear that RB Leipzig have started the season well and are set to challenge for honours once again.
