VfL Bochum Welcomes German Veteran Midfielder to the Team, Signing a Free Agent

VfL Bochum has announced that they have signed German veteran midfielder, Oliver Freuler, on a free transfer from VfB Stuttgart.

Freuler, who is 34 years old, has played for several clubs in Germany and Europe over his career, including Eintracht Frankfurt, Hannover 96, Werder Bremen, and VfB Stuttgart.

He made his debut for the national team in 2010 and has been a regular player for them since then, earning over 75 caps and scoring four goals.

In his time at VfB Stuttgart, Freuler helped the club win the Bundesliga title in 2018 and was named Player of the Year by the German Football Association (DFB) in 2019.

With VfL Bochum, he will be looking to continue his impressive form and help the team achieve success in the upcoming season. The club has also announced that he will wear number 11 shirt for the new campaign.
